From bestselling author and winner of the Blue Peter Best Story Book Award, Uki and the Swamp Spirit is the fifth title set in the world of Podkin One-Ear. Linking itself so it could poison it all and destroy it. Uki and his friends have two more spirits to find and capture. After defeating Valkus, they make for Clarice, who is spreading disease through the swamps. Can Uki and his friends outwit him - all whilst they themselves are being chased by the Endwatch and Jori's clan of assassins? 'Storytelling perfection.' A truly astounding tale of medieval rabbits. plague and magic crystals. A ragtag trio of rabbits, each one outcasts. 4 ancient evils, born with powers beyone our wildest dreams. A spirit weak, calls on a stronger being for help. Where does it end?

I would have liked to rate it 100/5! My favourite character was Uki who, after capuring Gaunch and Valkus and making his two friends Jori and Kree, goes on to capture Charice the bringer of disease. With his new freind Coal and old freinds Jori and Kree..

I can't wait for the next book in the series. I have read them all.

I really liked this adventurous and exciting book. This is the 5th book in the Five Realms series, so it's best to read the other books first. It's set in a time when rabbits are the dominant species on Earth. A young rabbit Uki has a quest: to capture the four ancient spirits who have turned evil. He has already succeeded in capturing two of them in the previous book. But now he needs to defeat Charice, the spirit of disease, who is spreading plague all through the fens. Can Uki and his friends Jori and Kree succeed in stopping her before it's too late? This book is definitely worth a read!

I love to this read this book over and over. It's my go-to book when I need something to read. I was introduced to the author Kieran Larwood by my teacher in year four.

This was the last book of the series. I was cross at the end because it finishes on a cliffhanger! I hope there is another book to this series. I loved the Podkin One Ear series so much.
Inspector Chesney Pudding-Basin 28.07.2021

This book is very adventurous and mythical. My favourite character is Jori. This book is about a young rabbit who has to capture a spirit before it destroys the world. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in myths and legends.

Master Snoopy Owl 16.07.2021

Uki and the Swamp Monster is a tale of a tiny little rabbit who has to save the five realms. I like the setup of this book because the story is told by a bard to a little rabbit who is soon to follow in his steps. I would recommend this book to anyone who liked the Podkin One-Ear series.
Judge Pinky Starlight 15.07.2021

Uki chases spirts access the fens with his friends Jori and Kree, does he have the strength to capture the spirit of the sick? As the bard their the story it all becomes very real!
Director Sapphire Quest 07.07.2021

This is a very new book and a brilliant one too. I like Kree who is incredibly rude when angry or annoyed. She is always swearing under her breath in a language nobody can understand. It’s good for calm and sensible people but terrible for people that pick on every little rude word or phrase.
