I like this book because Ivy showed herself to be just like everyone else and it made me think that maybe TrooFriends weren't robots after all. But as they could be turned off with a switch, they must have been. My favourite character was Sarah because she was very naughty but tried to make up for things.

This book is about a robot who was designed to be someone's friend, and she goes to live with a girl called Sarah. There is news of the same type of robot attacking someone, so the robot, who is called Ivy, and Sarah, run away so that Ivy does not get destroyed. Ivy has also been mean to someone because she was copying Sarah, who said that her friend was boring. At the end of the book Ivy apologizes and goes to live with Ms. Jenson Junior, who runs the company that made her.

I loved this book and my favourite "android" was Ivy. It was funny when she couldn't understand the sarcasm of what Sarah was saying. Definitely recommended to others!

Troofriend is a book detailing the perspective of a newly developed android called Ivy ,who is a Troofriend Mark IV. This specific robot is the latest craze and is designed to be a child's one true friend. I LOVED how it was all written in the android's perspective and how she described everything around her. I think that level of description helps you understand the story even better! I would recommend this to robot lovers and people who adore emotional books.

I like this book because it has a really good story and it’s suspenseful, heartwarming and has an unexpected ending. My favourite character is is Milly because she helps Sarah understand that she needs to apologise to her friends and help Ivy find a new home. I recommend it to kids who like science fiction and robot stories.
