Josh loved listening to this book that his Mum read to him. Barney met his friend and family after being rescued by a Lighthouse Keeper. Barney was so clever that he was able to fly all by himself across the ocean to find his family.

I thought the book was really good because it had a goose in it. It was useful because I didn’t know that migration could be so hard.

Fiction book about a guy called Tom who one day was walking on the beach and found an egg. He warmed it until it hatched and named the goose Barney. They lived in a lovely white and black lighthouse which shined brightly at night time. Barney flew around Ireland meeting others birds on the way. It has a lot of happiness and joy.

This book is a fiction and my best character was Barney goose. This book is so interesting to me because Barney kept flying everywhere. I have never heard of a goose flying before. I really recommend it to everyone.
