A nice story to start thinking about how big school will look. Some of Evie's worries are understandable, and she soon learns that big school is not that scary. A good conversation starter so we could talk about what we think the best things about school will be.

Starting school is always and adventure. New friends ,teachers. And its always exciting and a little bit scary . This wonderful book is about a girl Evie who was a little bit worried about starting school . But she was able to overcome her fears and in this she was helped by a small magical school unicorn . Which she found in her pocket of a new school uniform .

It was really good. It’s about a little girl going to her new school. She feels scared so a lady comes and gives her a magical unicorn in her school uniform. Yes I would recommend it to people starting school soon.

I wanted to rate this book 6 because it’s about a unicorn and I really like unicorns. First of all she doesn’t feel confident and then she gets the unicorn and realises that big school is a big adventure.

I liked the Unicorn because it was pink and sparkly. It was all about the little girl nervous about going to school so her dad took her to the school uniform shop. The lady said if you get worried at school there is something in your pocket and it was a sparkly special Unicorn. At the end the little girl wasn't nervous anymore so she gave the Unicorn back to the lady at the shop.
