Malory Towers Collection 2: Books 4-6
Enid Blyton
There's more to life than lessons at Malory Towers, Enid Blyton's best-loved boarding school series. This fantastic bumper collection contains Malory Towers books 4-6, with a brand-new cover illustrated by Pippa Curnick. Upper Fourth Darrell Rivers is Head Girl of her class and her sister Felicity has joined Malory Towers. It looks set to be a wonderful term until Felicity makes friends with young trouble-maker June. With twins Connie and Ruth causing problems in their form too, Darrell's first term in charge is a big challenge . . . In the Fifth Now that Darrell Rivers and her friends are fifth-formers, it's their turn to produce the school play. There is plenty of talent on show but everyone has their own ideas and competition for the starring role is fierce. Can the girls overcome their quarrels so that no one is upstaged? Last Term Darrell Rivers is Head Girl of Malory Towers and there is plenty to keep her busy. Amanda is prepared to risk everything to be chosen to swim in the Olympics and spoilt Gwendoline is up to her usual tricks. Can Darrell stop Gwendoline from ruining their final term before it's time to wave goodbye? Between 1946 and 1951, Enid Blyton wrote six novels set at Malory Towers. This collection features the original stories and is unillustrated.
Reviews

I love the fun and games that they have at Malory Towers, but I also like that there are many problems to fix. My favourite character is Darrell. I would recommend it to anyone who loves non‐fantasy adventures.

It is absolutely amazing because there is so many exiting things in it and you feel like you are actually there listening and seeing everything going on in the book. You Absolutely Have To Read This! I have the whole series of Malory towers and I have read the series about eight times!

I really liked this book. There were twins called Ruth and Connie at Malory Towers and Connie kept talking for Ruth because when someone asked Ruth a question Connie always answered for her and when Ruth moved into a higher form it was really funny because Connie kept coming into the higher form's dormitory.

I thought this book was awesome. It was super funny. Amanda was really good at the end, training the younger ones and making them awesome and amazing like June. She must have finally learnt her lesson after breaking the rules by swimming. Mamzelle Dupont was 'a sport' to play the teeth trick. She scared even the teachers amd after, when her 'treek' was found out she became very popular in the school and everyone worked twice as hard for her than before. Oh, how she scared Miss Grayling and those other parents. Also, Jo was pretty bad. I mean, I get how it must be hard to be good when you were raised by a father like that but he could have at least tried to be nice. My faviroute character is Alicia because whent hey were doing the christmas showcase she went back. When she had that big chant argument with Moira she said that nothing would make her go back but she did go back in the end because Moira saved June from getting expelled. That makes Alicia brave.. I reccomend this book to everyone as it is awesome, great and will awe you.

I love this book. I actually had this before the fist one. But no matter what, it was awesome! So today I am reviewing it. Join Darrell, Sally Gwendoline, Irene, Bill, Alicia, Mary-Lou, and new characters from the book; Connie, Ruth, and Clarissa through their 4th, 5th, and 6th years at their high school; Malory Towers. A fun and exciting pre-schooler series. I recommend this book to others.

I loved reading the 2nd Malory Towers collection it was as exciting, happy, good-humoured as the first collection it will be sad not having Darrell, Sally, Alicia, Bill, Clarissa, Mavis, Moria, scatter-brained Irene and her talent for music, Bellindia and her excellent drawing, Maureen and mean, lonely Gwendoline Mary and her mischief and horrid plots. Soon I will be back at Malory Towers waiting for collection 3!
