Aleja was my favourite character because she was brave and belong to be in the pirate crew. I would recommend it to people who like pirate stories or adventures.

The Ship of Shadows is an amazing book about an adventure-seeking girl called Aleja. She joins an all-female pirate crew and is soon swept into the exciting search for a lost city. Will she crack the codes in time? This is a fantastic adventure story filled with pirates, mystery, friendship, lost cities, but most importantly, magic. I think all ages will love this book.
