This is the first book in the Last Hours series, and a prequel to the Shadowhunters series by Cassandra Clare. I bought the hardcover version with birthday money in March just before the lockdown began. Cordelia’s story is amazing, and it was told with such great detail that I felt like I was one of the characters. One of the best fantasy novels I have ever read!
