Evie and the Animals

I liked how while it tells the story of Evie defeating Mortimer J Mortimer it also had Evie learning facts and in turn told us the facts too. I liked the part when leaf the snake stood up to Mortimer and saved Evie ,granny flora and Santiago (Evie’s dad)

I thought this was a fantastic book because it had an interesting blurb. This book is good and it would definitely draw the reader in. This is a fiction and my favourite character is Evie because she has the talent and that make her be able to read animals mind and she really wants to look after them. I would recommend this book to someone who adores animals.

This is one of the best books I have ready. The book was very exciting and full of cliff hangers. It is amazing that Evie can hear and talk to animals. My favourite person was Scruff the dog because he is funny and joyful. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes animals.

I liked Granny Flora, because she can talk to lizards telepathically.I liked this book because I learnt a few facts about animals even though it is a fiction book. I recommend this book , because she likes animals.

I really love this book because it was all about animals and the story line was very exciting. Evie’s talent talking to animals was super cool and it helped her save herself and her family. She was also very kind to the animals and they also helped save her and her family because of it.

This book is amazing from the first page to the last. Matt Haig is an incredible author I can imagine all of it. It so cool that Evie can actually talk to animals! This book is action packed and one of the best books I've read this summer. My favourite character was Evie as she can talk to animals and is fearless. I would recommend it to anyone age 7 to 10.
