Nevertell is a great book. It brings tension in various parts of the story but ended well for most of the characters in the book. I liked Lina the most because she was the bravest amongst everyone else except her grandmother. I would definitely recommend this book to someone who likes fictional, adventure stories.

i thought that it had remarkable description but at the same time left gaps for imagination. it was fiction; the person i like best is the protagonist (Liana)who is constructive and creative. i WouId recommend it to someone 10+ who likes fantasy books.

This book is soo unique and this is why. The author really sets the scene by describing everything and it makes you fell you are in Russia with the main character, Lina. The storyline is great and easy to follow as the chapters each start after the last. My favourite character would have to be Lina as she is a headstrong girl who is also feisty, like me. While reading the book, I kept glancing back to the cover as I understood more of what was on it. The illustrator did a great job capturing the ice castle, shadow wolves and the moonlight backdrop behind. My only ask for this book would be more of those amazing illustrations as they were only on the cover and a small sketch at the start of each chapter. All in all this book is a definite five star read. I would recommend this book for 10+ but if you are younger and read above your age, this would also be good for you!

This book is about 11 year old Lina, and her best friend Bodgan. They have to escape from prison camp, while on the run from Svetlana. My favourite character is Lina because she is adventurous but she also takes some time to think before she acts.

Read this in 2 days, a fantastic story about Lina and her friend who escape from prison and venture too far into to a sorceress’ forest.

I rather enjoyed this book as it was full of mystery, excitement and feeling. This book is perfect for the fans of mystery and excitement - I can assure you that it will keep you gripping the seat nervously at every single page. My favourite character is twelve-year-old Lina, and all that she knows of the world is the Stalinist labor camp where she was born, a place of hunger, cruelty, and deprivation. After a daring escape into the frigid Siberian wilds with her best friend, Bogdan, Lina vows to reach Moscow and find her long-lost grandmother, whom she hopes will help her return to the camp to rescue her mother. But out in the dark and haunted forests , Lina and Bogdan catch the eye of a vengeful witch, a refugee of oppressive new laws about magic, who commands an army of shadow wolves. She seems drawn to some mysterious power within Lina herself. Pursued by the witch and in fear of recapture, Lina will need every ounce of courage she has - and a whisper of her own magic - if she and Bogdan are to survive the journey and bring hope to a dark place. I would absolutely recommend this brilliant book to anyone if they are willing to immerse themself into the Russian forests of treachery, and magic.
