Telling a little white lie now and then is harmless, right? But what if it leads to you being a household name and international celebrity? Cole is the boy who fooled the world and finds himself trapped in a huge web of lies... can he break free?

I think it was wonderful, and to someone who knows the struggles of coming up with ideas I think the emotions are rather relatable - even if the events aren't. Would recommend to 9 - 12 year olds.

I didn’t enjoy the book because there wasn’t much extension of vocabulary. It was lots of short sentences and not very descriptive.

loved it . This is the best book I have read during the summer reading challenge. It was about a boy called Cole and his sister Mabel. A famous artist named Marika Loft visited his school. He made a mistake in his painting and Marika loved it. She took it to the famous loft gallery and it sold for one thousand pounds. Marika loft asked him to make more paintings but he couldn't. His sister Mabel painted a painting and Marika Loft loved it. There was a auction and Cole took Mabel's painting on purpose. It was sold for one hundred thousand pounds. But when he had a live interview Mabel complained that it was her painting and Cole told the truth. He became poor again but he solved a enigma in oil and no one else had been able to solve it. So he became rich again.
