When I read this book, it made my heart feel stronger of the connection between Addie and the foal. She stood up for it and brought it to its home where she thought it belonged but a day later, it was back again with an injured body. While that was happening she became friends with Gabe, Jude and her foster home parents. My favourite character is Gabe. I would recommend it to anyone who likes animals.

I found this book was a little slow to get into but once I was engrossed into the story, I really enjoyed it. After the prologue their was no comment about about a foal until chapter 7/8. This book was all about an 11 year old girl called Addie being taken to a foster family on an Exmoor farm by her social worker. Whilst she was their she helped look after a young wild foal and together they made new friends, it was with the help of the foal that she settled into her new life, because before she found him she just wanted to go back home to the city and her Mum who was having problems. I would recommend this fiction book to all horse or animal loving children.

Very good book. I just didn't like the ending " Snow to build Things with " What? Why not what happened to the foal? What happened to her and her friends? Overall this was a great book though.
