My Best Friend and Other Enemies
Catherine Wilkins, Sarah Horne
When Jessica’s best friend goes off with new-girl Amelia, Jessica is hurt but determined not to take it lying down. She has a plan, and a secret weapon – her felt-tips. The pen is mightier than the sword, after all, and having a sense of humour wins Jessica far more friends than she loses.
A funny, wise story that will touch a nerve with everyone who reads it from author and stand-up comedian, Catherine Wilkins.
Reviews

I like Jessica the most because she is the main character and she is excellent at drawing like me. She tries to get her best friend Natalie from her enemy Amelia. not only she got her friend back, but Amelia wants to be friends with Jessica instead of enemies in the end. I am so happy about what happened at the end.

I like this book because the author wrote the book In a way that makes you feel the pain of what that person is dealing with.I really agree with Jessica that Amelia is annoying by playing nasty tricks on her.I love jessicas cartoon skills and my favourite drawing that she drew was the sheep Amelia .I rate this book 5 out of 5 because it is totally relatable to friend ship problems with everyone once in a while

I think children should read this book because it is funny and if you are going through a friendship problem this book might help apart from the "rival gang" pat of the book.

It was really funny. Amelia and Jessica hate each other and Jessica's best friend Natalie goes off with Amelia. Brilliantly funny.

I hate Amelia too... for most of this story i'm on Jess's side but I don't see why she has to copy all of the CAC club's ideas...?!
