Very good book. I really enjoy Kiran's writing however the ending was very different to what I expected and felt slightly rushed. A lot of people went into it expecting queer vampires (the last 10% ish of the book). I read it expecting it to be a story about slavery with gothic, fantasy and romance undertones (the other 90% rocked thistle last 10% was unexpected to me.) Overall very good book with an unexpected and slightly rushed ending. 4.5/5 stars
