The Zumbies are on the rampage – members of the Cherry Tree Lane zumba class are apparently dying and then mysteriously coming back to life! Alex, Jess and Dave have to put a stop to it before Alex’s mum and nan join the living Zumba dead or there’ll be no family Christmas. But why are the Zumbies curiously drawn to the Christmas lights? What does the Octopus sign mean? And who is the evil genius behind it all?

I rate it 4 because it is a mystery story and a surprising story. My favourite character is probably Alex as he is funny and he can sense when someone is bad. I would recommend it to 7-13 years.

The book talks about a boy and his sister who have some super powers. It talks about their adventures when they went on a mission to find out about how a lady died mysteriously. The story has lots of twists and turns. It keeps the reader engaged all the time and keeps them on the edge of their seats. I like Alex the most because he has a amazing super power to detect who is lying. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who like adventures and suspense.

I think Alex Sparrow and the Zumbie Apocalypse is a very good book and I loved the part where Alex goes to the doctor's office. Jess is my favourite character because she is brave and I like her powers to understand animals. I would recommend this book a lot.
