I really enjoyed reading this book, as it was exciting and made me want to continue reading all the time to find out what happened next. It was really grabbing in the way it was written and had very good cliff-hangers and twists. It was very adventurous and confusing at times, however once you read on for a little longer, you understand what is happening and start to enjoy how mysterious it is. My favourite character has to be Lazuli (or Specialist Heitz) for she is a fairy on a secret mission that ends up requiring the assistance of 'humans' ( Myles and Beckett Fowl) plus help from a very active and miniature creature called 'Whistle Blower'. This troll is an interesting thing, but I will let you find out why when you read the book. I would most certainly recommend this book to everyone.

I liked Beckett the most because he is the epitome of chaos, being wild and free, is able to achieve epic moves, and is generally a cool guy, someone I would want to befriend.

This is an extremely good book with lots of technology and gadgets, secret plans and a bit of magic. When Myles and Beckett, 11-year old twins, are left alone with their house security technology system, they end up in an adventure with a secret organisation, a villain seeking immortality, and a fairy with no magic. I would give this book 6 stars if I could!

Just what I expect from an Artemis Fowl sequel! It was a brilliant book with lots of actual facts. The chase scenes are gripping. There are unexpected twists that save the heroes. My favourite character was Beckett because he had a constantly go-lucky attitude even when things went wrong. I would recommend this book to 8-13 year olds

My favourite character is Nunterrogator Sister Jeronima Gonzales-Ramos because she is very stylish (she wears a jewelled hatpin over her nun's habit) and it was really funny how the Fowl Twins kept outwitting her. I like this book because just when you think the twins might have a rest from their escaping a high-security dungeon adventure , they're suddenly on a high-speed chase through the canals of Amsterdam. Also , there are lots of hints at special skills that one of the twins , Beckett Fowl , might have but it doesn't tell you exactly what's going on until nearer the end.

It was really funny and enjoyable, it was also quite tense at times and was also thrilling. My favourite character was Myles as he was reallly smart and had a touch of humour in him.
