Icarus Was Ridiculous
Pamela Butchart, Thomas Flintham
The ninth in a smash hit series of hilarious tales about primary school life from best-selling, award-winning creators! Packed with excellent black and white illustrations, this is the perfect longer read for newly confident readers.
Nothing is quite as it seems for Izzy and her friends, and the drama is always off the scale!
Izzy LOVES all the stories the Ancient Greeks told! She can’t wait to tell her friends about Icarus, who was a TOTAL NUMPTY, and the Trojan Horse, which ended a war and wasn’t even REAL!
So pull up a plinth and enjoy all the DRAMA of the original Greek myths, as told by Pamela Butchart and Thomas Flintham, in collaboration with the British Museum. Now with even more SANDALS!

I liked it because it's not like the other books. It's about ancient greek myths and Izzy just tells them the storiesof the myths. I would recommend this to anyone who like Pamela Buchart books.

I enjoyed this book because Icarus was very lazy and he flew too close to the sun and because he did not listen to his father the wax from his wings melted and he died.
