This was a really good book! Effie is bold, brave and not afraid to stand up for what is right. She and her friends are determined to do what's right and win against her enemy Aaron Davis. Will they succeed?

This book is about a girl who joined a new school and on the first day she goes to the lunch hall and she gets into a fight and so decides to run for class president. I liked this book because most of the book was about competition and she gains a team of people who had a different talent to help her win. I also liked it because normally the good guy is the person who wins but in this book she loses but she accepts it.

I loved that the book was about girls having the same rights as boys and that it was also about teamwork and friendship. I thought it was inspirational because she didn't give up. My favorite character is Effie as she is so friendly. I would 100% recomend.

I didn’t really like this book as I felt that it was a copy of the boy at the back of the class but with much less detail.

Inspirational, gripping, touching. Effie is very determined and wants to succeed at everything. A great role model. Not as great as Aaron Davis, though. He is (very controversially) my favourite character. He seems like he is horrible but really isn't! Great read.

I really liked this book because it's all about this girl called Effie who is new to her school. She runs for school president. Along the way she meets new friends makes mortal enemies. The ending is a bit shocking because what you expect will probably not happen. Please read this book it is amazing. This also has a bit of history and teaches you that girls are just like boys and sometimes even better.

Vote for Effie is a really interesting book about feminism. When Effie starts her new school, she soon gets in a fight with Aaron Davis about taking her chocolate cake. Soon after, Effie signs up to be in student council as she wants to take action in her new school. With her new friends, Effie works hard to show why she wants to make a change. I think my favourite character was Effie because she stands up for what she believes in. I would recommend this book to 9-13 year olds.

Effie Kostas, a new girl in school was desperate to get that last chocolate but school president Aaron Davis jumps in the queue to get what Effie desired. She is fuming. She won't stand for unfairness so when she runs for junior president, things don't get off to a great start.
