The number one bestseller! Shortlisted for the Branford Boase Award 2020. Set off on a magical and joyful adventure on the Frostheart! Bursting with brilliant characters and heart-stopping adventure, this magical tale is perfect for fans of Nevermoor, Frozen and How to Train Your Dragon! Way out in the furthest part of the known world, a tiny stronghold exists all on its own, cut off from the rest of human-kin by monsters that lurk beneath the Snow Sea. There, a boy called Ash waits for the return of his parents, singing a forbidden lullaby to remind him of them … and doing his best to avoid his very, VERY grumpy yeti guardian, Tobu. But life is about to get a whole lot more crazy-adventurous for Ash. When a rescue attempt reveals he has amazing magical powers, he's whisked aboard the Frostheart, a sleigh packed full of daring explorers who could use his help. But can they help him find his family…? 'A feast for the eyes and the imagination!' Laura Ellen Anderson, bestselling author of Amelia Fang 'A rip-roaring action adventure, full of humour, heart and unforgettable characters, all enhanced by Littler's wonderfully detailed black and white line drawings . . . expect big things.' I loved reading this fantastic book. My favourite character was Lunah because she was very funny. I also liked the details in the pictures that show all sorts of interesting stuff like how it shows the different song auras. Over all this story was a jam-pact adventure full of mystery, wonder and disaster! I would recommend this book to all.

I loved this book. The characters were interesting and quite different. The adventures they go on are quite exciting. I love the scary creatures too, I like them even though they are 'bad'.

I've given this book a 4/5 because I think it should probably be read by older children - it is long and some of the words were quite tricky. The story is about war on the ice between yetis, monsters, children and adults. It left me feeling exhilarated!!

It's a very good book with lots of plot twists and danger, which is the type of book i love. The person i liked the best in this book is probably Tobu, the guardian of the main character (Ash) because he was such a good guardian. Even when Ash tried to escape his home without him, Tobu came with him and stayed with him till the end of the book. He sounded like a scary character, and he was very strict with Ash, but deep down he loved Ash and he would protect him with his life and I admire the loyalty the guardian shows towards Ash. I would most definitely recommend this book to someone else if they enjoyed dangerous adventures.
