Today is Sports Day. I CAN’T WAIT! And as I know that I’ll be great, I’ve planned how I will celebrate – because I’m going to win.
Our heroine is determined that she’s going to win all the events at school sports day. The problem is that winning isn’t as easy as it looks. She doesn’t win the running race or the tug of war – and she can’t even win a game of hide-and-seek. But maybe winning isn’t really the point?

I love this book because it teaches you that you don't have to win to have fun. The girl who always wanted to win but never did ended up baking a cake for fun but then won the competition.

A good premise about not having to always be the best at everything and just enjoy it, though it was always the same competitor that won so I thought it kind of made it pointless as the was always the same other winner!

I loved the book and thought that the girl in the book would win at least one prize but the other girl said that losing is alright and being happy for the person who won is kind. The book was fictional and my favourite character was the girl who really wanted to win because she kept trying and didn't give up. I recommend this book because I really enjoyed it.
