One morning the townspeople of Dull-on-Sea wake to find that their town is overrun with rats. Big rats, small rats, fierce rats, hungry rats – it is an infestation! I thought the book was very interesting, the part of the book that captivated me the most was when the rats jumped on the pirate piper, but also when the children tricked the pirate pirate to rescue the captured children!

Fiction book. It's my new favourite book. I liked chapter 12, when Nugget saved all the children and brought them back to their parents.

Good because this stranger came up and released rats. He went to the mayor and tried to get money from the mayor to get rid of them. He brain washed the children.

I really enjoyed this story as it was very exciting and it the characters were very cheeky. I also liked the great illustrations. I liked Matilda best as she had the idea to save the children from the rats as they had been hypnotised.
