I liked learning about the Croatian superstar.

I liked this book because I learnt a lot about Modric and it was really factual. I liked the fact that his first Major club was Tottenham because I support Tottenham. I would definitely recommend this book to football fans and Tottenham fans. It's a five-star book about a five-star player.

I liked this book because I love football and I enjoy finding out about where professional footy players first started their career. My favourite person was Modric as he never gave up. When he lost or didn't get into the team he wanted to play for, it just made him more determined to be better and be accepted into the squad. I would recommend this book to any football fans for approximately 11+ as there is some tricky foreign words to pronounce.

This book is really good because it tells you how Luka Modric survived the war in Croatia as a child while living in the mountains and then in a busy city hotel that he moved to. He learned to play football in the hotel car park and became one of the best players in the world. I would recommend this book to a friend.
