The first book in a spellbinding children’s fantasy series, with beautiful black-and-white inside illustrations by Sarah Warburton. Perfect for fans of Cressida Cowell and Nevermoor.

Willow Moss, the youngest and least powerful sister in a family of witches, has a magical ability for finding lost things – like keys, or socks, or spectacles. Useful, but not exactly exciting… Then the most powerful witch in the world of Starfell turns up at Willow’s door and asks for her help. A whole day – last Tuesday to be precise – has gone missing. Completely. And without it the whole universe could unravel. Now Willow holds the fate of Starfell in her rather unremarkable hands… Can she save the day – by finding the lost one? Step into Starfell, a world crackling with warmth, wit and magic, perfect for readers aged 8–12. Book 2 coming in April 2020!

It was very funny, especially the character Oswin who was a kodblod and not a cat. It is interested me because they had to find a day that went missing.

It is good if you like adventure and mystery but if you are more into crime and horror I would not recommend as it is just an adventure. willow was the best but it is sad that Granny Flossy died cause she was my favourite character out of all them. it is a really descriptive book but it does get a little boring here and there.

An epic start to an amazing series. This book draws you in to read more as Willow Moss sets off on an unexpected journey with Moreg Vaine and her pet Kobold (or 'The Monster Under The Bed') Oswin meeting more friends along the way trying to discover where Tuesday went.

It was amazing. My favourite character was the dragon. If you like witchcraft and wizardry you are going to love this book. It's like harry potter.

It was better at the end and on the second half I adored it but on the first half it was quite hard to follow. My favourite person was Nolin Sometimes.

This book is really inspiring because when you think of witches, you always think of them being really spooky and flying on broomsticks and making potions and spells. However, in this book, the characters don't do this.

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the witches and their powers. My favourite character was Willow and Moreg because of how they worked together. I also liked that although everyone thought Willow was useless, she saved the day. It was a bit scary and confusing at times, l really liked the book and can’t wait to read the next one. I would recommend this one to someone who likes magic, witches, trolls, anything like that.

My favourite character is definitely Sometimes the forgotten teller/oubiler! This book is definitely recommended to anybody liking mythical creatures and disappointing family members... who save the day.

This book was a fiction book about a lost day.I liked a witch called starfell because she saved the day by using her finding magic and help from some friends she makes on the way. I would recommend this book to someone who likes magic and adventure books.

A great mysterious book, but alas some parts are quite boring and didn't reach my expectations. Although the actual genre of the book is awesome and it was a great book.
