Timmy Failure: It's the End When I Say It's the End
Stephan Pastis, Stephan Pastis
Everyone’s favourite best worst detective is back in the seventh, and final, book in the bestselling series that’s perfect for fans of Wimpy Kid, Tom Gates and Barry Loser.
Though I, Timmy Failure, have solved many notorious crimes and now wish to enjoy my retirement, my fans have begged me to turn my memoirs into a movie, an ode to my greatness.
It’s nearly Christmas, but there’s no rest for the world’s greatest detective. Timmy’s class are making a film, and Timmy is in charge of writing it. There’s only one subject matter worthy of such a film – the story of how Timmy overcame his many foes to rise to the top. But the script’s gone missing, Timmy and the director are having ""artistic differences"", and Timmy’s polar bear Total is longing to be reunited with his furry family.
Timmy should have known it would end like this. He expected more.

I loved this book! It was laugh-out-loud funny, with Timmy's trademark deadpan narration and Pastis's clever illustrations. I also appreciated how the book addressed deeper themes, such as family, friendship, and acceptance. My favorite character in the book is Timmy himself. He's a flawed character, but he's also kind, loyal, and always trying to do the right thing. I think kids will relate to his awkwardness and his determination to succeed, even when things don't go his way. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys humor, mystery, and heartwarming stories. It's a great book for kids of all ages, and it's sure to leave you laughing.

The end just makes you satisfied and emotional. This is a great goodbye to the series. It's so funny! **SPOILERS** Especially where Mr. Jenkins says, "That Tom John John is a pain in my patootie." The part where Total leaves is so sad!

I really liked Timmy Failure. Great funny guy. He even has a friend polar bear who has been arrested more than 20 Times. Timmy Failure smiles on every page even when bad things happen. The pictures are really good too.

My favourite part of the story was when Tom John John got booted on a Pelican crossing. He says he needs a polar bear and needs to find his brother.

It was funny and exciting! It was also a little weird though and appealing to anyone who wants to become a detective whenever they grow up. I recommend it to people who are 7-10 or people who want to be a detective when they grow up.

It was very good. It left it on a cliff hanger so I'm wondering if they will write whether one. I would highly recommend it.

Timmy has been to write a film but there's a very annoying director called Tom John John. My favourite part was part of the film when Timmy through their headteacher through a ten storey window! It was very funny.
