I liked how it was about a little girl and her new friend Paige who were looking after a little fawn, and then the fawn and the two friends were just so happy at the end.

I really like this book because it’s about animals and it has some difficult times and problems for some of the characters it’s interesting and when I start reading it I can hardly stop! I recommend this book to everyone but especially to people who like animals.

I adored the book. I loved that at the end Dapple the deer came back to the garden to Lola’s garden.

I didn't really like this book because it wasn't as interesting as normal animal books. The only part I enjoyed was when Paige and Lola go up in the treehouse and see Dapple. I didn't like the bit when the little fawn got stuck in a football net because that bit was too long and I think it should be quicker. I don't recommend this book to anyone who doesn't like long, boring pages.

I really loved it. It nearly made me cry happy tears because it was so good and beautiful. I loved the name of the fawn, it was very unique. I really liked the funny cat they had. I really loved the story and I liked Lola, the girl who looked after the fawn because she loved animals and she was kind to the fawn. She would feed the fawn every morning and before she went to bed. I would definitely tell someone else if they asked for names of good books to read. Even if they didn't ask, I'd still tell them!

I thought this book was a fun adventure, but a little bit worrying as well when I thought that Paige and Lola weren’t going to be friends again. Also a bit selfish that Lola thought that she would be able to keep a wild animal as a petbut other wise it was absolutely amazing I loved reading this book.

I loved this book. I really like deer so I loved that they got to look after the deer. I like that the deer knew Lola and would always come into the garden. I liked imagining what it would be like to have a deer in my garden. I kind of understood how Lola felt, because I just moved house and school too.
