Fred: Wizard in Trouble
Simon Philip, Sheena Dempsey
Fred may look ordinary, but sometimes people who look ordinary turn out to be not very ordinary at all … because it just so happens that Fred is a Wizard!
The only problem is that Fred is completely, mind-boggingly TERRIBLE at magic…

Fred was a wizard in training. But now he has got everybody’s attention because he captured a fire breathing lizards tail and now has magic lessons from The Merlin. When he goes back to school he is humiliated and when it’s lesson time he feels like a fraud. This teatime with Merlin is the best ever, Fred thinks. Fred tells Merlin all of his worries and then he amazes himself by doing something he can’t do at school. But amazement turns into mystery when one of the most precious book gets stolen and Merlin dissappears. Fred, his best friend Marvin and Marvin’s parents went to Death’s Door. What a mystery.

This was a good book. Fred had to try and rescue Merlin from the evil wizard Kazan, because if he didn't he would steel Merlin’s favourite tea pot. This is a fiction book. I would recommend it to my friend.

I really liked this book. It was exciting when Fred realise he could actually do magic. I wish I could be like Fred.
