I rated this book 5 stars because there was a fast runner who was called Florence Joyner. I liked her because she was the fastest runner in the world and I liked running too so she made me want to always try my best. This book taught me different life skills and fun facts that I will always remember.

I think it's an inspiring book of brave black women. I think I liked Rosa's part the most as she was really determined not to give up her seat for a white person and even though she went to jail she was still very brave. I would recommend this book to big kids.
