It made me really happy because I really like squirrels, I like dogs aswell, and I like flowers because they smell nice. The book was good, it was good when the squirrel was not alone as he did not have any friends. The good part- When all of the rats came to help the squirrel and the dog pulled the rats around in the rollerskate, which was really funny.

I liked this story because it was sweet. I liked it when Cyril was alone and Slim said that Cyril wasn’t brave without Pat but then Pat appeared and said “Ahem, do you mean me!” I would recommend it to people who like sweet stories.

It was very funny, I liked both the rat and squirrel. The most interesting part was the dog bullying the squirrel and it was very scared and the rat appeared with its friends and then the dog was scared.

I like Cyril because he thinks he has a squirrel friend but he's actually a rat and they have lots of fun together. All the other animals try to tell him that Pat is a rat and Cyril doesn't believe them. I would recommend this book
