I loved it. I like that it had silly sums and that his sister said toads and slugs are for dinner. This book really made me laugh.

I liked this book. My favourite bit was when Tom tried to show Derek his drawing through the window. I would recommend this book because it was really fun to read and the pictures were really funny.

This was a brilliant book an I very much enjoyed reading it. I would recommend it to anybody who likes comics or funny stories and doodling also if you've read Tom Gates before. My favourite character is Buster Jones because I like all the nicknames he has for everyone including Gatesy and Pingle. It is a very funny book and definitely read it! Happy reading everyone!

This was my least favourite of the Tom Gates series. Too many things happened in this book and it confused me. There were too many problems in the story and it was just about him trying to get on the school council. I did enjoy the bit when Buster Jones gave all the teachers nicknames!
