I liked this book, but the first still is my favourite out of the two. It was nice to see the children grow up, and Evie’s future was unexpected… I thought she would be an inventor or something similar, but the ruler of folio? That was a big shock for me. One thing I disliked about the book was that the magician came out of no where, whereas he was trapped in a mirror in the last book which did not really make sense.

the book I read was the frozen sea and I did not really have a favourite character but the only part of the book that was sad is that 4 big boys were bullying a girl just because her learning was on a higher level. I would recommend this book for anyone who likes sad stories.

My favourite character was "The hamster" because I like pets. The hamster helped the main character to go through the challenge of the frozen sea. The book is a bit creepy and I will definitely recommend the book to someone else.

This was a fiction book and I really enjoyed it because Jewel, the main character was very adventurous and I like adventure! Also Fizz the hamster was very funny!

It is an interesting tale. I think if I read the first book it might make a bit more sense!

it was so shocking and emotional. My favourite character was Jewel because she was never giving up except on the last part before she got saved. I would recommend to people who are not sensitive.

I enjoyed this book, it is fiction. Some parts are scary but not as scary as other books by the author I have read. I would recommend this book.

The book was a definitely a fiction. It's a continuation of previous story, The Lost Magician. The main character is a shy but very smart girl Jewel and her rude hamster, Fizz. They are going on an adventure to find out who Jewel is. Yes, i would recomend it as I really liked it.

I really liked how the author describes every single part in completely amazing vocabulary. The whole way through I was really gripped by the ending of chapters and definitely wanted to read more. It really is “the best book I ever read and by book I mean unbelievable secret weapon!” If you do read this book you will not be ashamed as it is mythical and the explanation to all the unbelievable things is very understandable. I recommend this book for 8+ as it is quite long and uses some different and difficult vocabulary but very enjoyable.
