I have never read a comic before but I liked the look of this as I love football. I enjoyed reading the book using the pictures to tell me the story.

Roy was the best player in Melchester Rovers. The most exciting match was against Weston Villa - last match in the book.

this is a fiction book about Roy who plays football for rovers as a striker .At the start rovers lose 2-1 to Tynecaster and rovers are out the FA cup .Roy has an argument with his family and he has a load of training for a big game .Roy wins a tight race against his teamate . In the end rovers win 3-0 but Roy gets injured . I would recomend this book anyone who likes football because this is a buzzing book about everyday life and football.

This is an amazing book because he is a good role model to his younger sister Rocky who plays for a team aswell it’s got good descriptive words in it to describe how he feels I would love to read more books in the series. I LOVED IT!!!!!
