Found the aunties title a tongue twister. Good story emphasis the positives of learning to read and go for your dreams.

I love the way Peg escapes her wicked Step Great-Grand Auntie. I love the pictures. I love how the illustrator (who I have met) creates such brilliant pictures.

Nurse Daffodil Sunshine 26.08.2022

I would recommend this book to a friend because I love it. My favourite character in the book was the girl would became captain Sparklebeard. She found the treasure by being clever and learning to read so she could use the map and the pirate book. The naughty pirates couldn’t do this and they got upset because their boat got tipped up in the waves and they went the wrong way on the island to find the treasure. It was funny when the nasty pirates cried because they hurt their bottoms on the barnacles and the waves made their boat spin around. I would to make a boat out of books and have a pearl beard like captain Sparklebeard.

I thought this book was funny. Peg was the greatest pirate and she was my favourite character. She was very clever because she read lots of pirate books. That’s why she was such a good pirate!

It was good. Thumbs up. Favourite character was Captain Hairy-ears because he wanted to find the treasure first but he didn’t. I also liked when he said pirates can’t come in if they’re small. I liked the smelly pirate laugh too.
