When Ben is granted three wishes, he dreams of changing his life forever. But you must always be careful what you wish for! A fantastical tale of love, magic and a sausage, specially written for children who are just learning to read, and with stunning illustrations by Lorena Alvarez throughout.

I thought this book was weird because he got a sausage nose! I did enjoy it but I found it strange. I don’t think they used their three wishes well. Instead of wishing for sausages, they could have wished for a jewelled castle. But they did learn that they didn’t need anything expensive as long as they had each other. A person who is curious about wishes would enjoy this book.

This book was good. I liked this book because they were good and happy couple. They were given 3 wishes but they didn’t use them wisely. They made 2 silly mistakes and then had to fix the mistake. I think this book was ok and I might recommend it to someone but maybe not.

I like this book because it has a fairy in it. The fairy has magic powers and she makes wishes come true. Fairy was my favourite. Ben was a woodcutter, and the fairy gave him 3 wishes. He wanted a sausage, so Lara got angry and wished the sausage would be stuck to Bens nose. With the third wish he wished the sausage would come off his nose. At the end of the story they just had a sausage. Nothing else but they were happy ever after.

I liked the bit where they were just happy with the sausage and happy with their lives just how they were.
