The Dragonsitter in the Land of the Dragons
Josh Lacey, Garry Parsons
Eddie has travelled with his uncle Morton to Mongolia, in hope of being one of the few to watch the Great Dragon Battle Ceremony. But wild dragons are not nearly so friendly as pet ones, and the inhospitable mountains are a dangerous place to be stuck with nothing but a pile of chocolate bars. Meanwhile, back at home, Mum can’t quite believe her son has really run off to Mongolia, and now she has been left with the tricky task of dragonsitting . . .
Told in emails between Eddie and his mum, The Dragonsitter in the Land of the Dragons is an extra actionpacked tale of misunderstandings, monsters and Mars bars.

I liked how they were trapped in a cave for a while, then they were saved by two other dragons.

I don't recommend this story because it doesn't tell a great story. All it is, is people's messages but it still is an ok story.

I think it was interesting because of all that he went through. I wonder how one normal sized dragon and one baby dragon defeated one big dragon. I liked Eddie best because he’s brave because he protected himself and his uncle Morton. The cave will interest me. I will recommend it to someone else because it’s an interesting book.

I liked Eddie because he was doing emailing his mum which was really good of him. I liked that they were emailing. I didn’t like that his mum was thinking that he was not actually were he was.

This book was fun, there were too many words and the book seemed to take too long, the main character Eddie has the same name as my little brother, this interested me in the library. I didn't read all the book as I lost interest, but liked the way the story was told through email messages between Mum and Eddie. I loved the pictures, these were good and help make the story that a bit more interesting. It is a fictional book and the cover with the Dragons attracted me, as I like dragons, monsters and dinosaurs. I am not sure if I would recommend this book to some my age.

I didn't like this one so much because it was quite scary and I didn't like it when Uncle Morton had a tummy ache because of the dragons.
