It’s competition time! The Hercules Hopefuls are at the International Championships at last – but how will Fergus cope with the competition pressures now that his best friend Daisy has moved away? Mum and Jambo are distracted by their upcoming wedding, Grandpa and Choppy Wallace are having problems with the team’s sponsor, who is demanding ludicrous things like banning the team from eating bananas and making them scoff biscuits instead. Manchester is starting to feel a long way from home. I liked the bit when hopefuls won the cycling race. I did not like the bit when Fergus got sacked because he argued with his teacher. I did not have a favourite character. I will recommend this book to people who like cycling.

This book is about Fergus and his chimp. He was only nine years old. They were going to do a big bicyle race with everyone in his class. I like princess Lily best because she did the bicyle race as well and she won. I loved the bicycle racing part, it was intereresting. Yes I will recommend this book to my friends.

I like Fergus best because he is always cheerful and he is also athletic. My favourite part is when Fergus came second in the big race and when Lily became Queen for a day.
