I like Tom because he’s very funny and very hilarious. I would recommend this book to people who like to read the books in the Tom Gates series. I am not saying that the other Tom Gates books are not funny but I have to say that this one was even better than the other Tom Gates books.

The main characters in the story are - Tom, Marcus, Amy and Mr. Fullerman. My favourite part in the book was when Tom realises that his new teacher was the same lady he had met in the shop few days ago and had told her about his secret door in the school. He didn't know then that she was going to be his teacher. He was so surprised to see her that he blurted out some excuse. Yes, I would totally recommend to my friends.

It was a really good book, my favourite character was Amy. This book is about a boy called Tom Gates, he wants to go to this place and he doesn't know he's going but his cousins and his uncle and auntie secretly do it so he can, go. Tom also has a school play and he's the monster! And he's really exited, and he pops up in corners, and the audience shouts "monster" when they see him.

The book is non-fiction and is a story about Tom Gates and his enemies, best friends, school life and family life. I like Amy Porter in the story as she is just like me in real life. I also like it's doodles. I would recommend it for people who like to read books a bit like diaries.
