It was funny and it told you a fact that isn't even true. - When someone makes lots of gases apparently the weather goes all crazy and cloud start falling out the sky which is what happened in the book!

It was funny but at some bits it was a bit boring I would recommend, but some people might not like it.

I liked this story because Friday O Leary pretended to be the bad guy so that he could release the other hero from prison, he was very kind. Polly would have been stuck in there without him. Billy is a really funny character in this story, he says some funny words like ‘funty’ instead of funny. Captain Brazil was good and bad because he helped both sides. I like the Mr Gum stories!

This book was super funny. Mr gum and Billy William was trying to make the biggest fire that lamb lamb Bonnick Bieber has ever seen Polly and (her friend) Friday was watching the clouds fall down as the pollution was trying to make the clouds fall down and everything in the world was getting upside down. So with Mr gum and billy they ran out of meat so the asked a pirate for more meat but only the rotten ones. Old granny had a cactus growing under her chair what when she took another sip she felt something meaty sherry. Polly and Friday had found out where Mr gum and Billy William was and then there was a last piece of meat they had to chunk in but it went into something else and explode the sherry factory!!! Old granny was so disappointed (that it exploded).

I loved it! It was too good! Polly is my favourite because she is nice and very kind to others. I think Mr Gum is very naughty but funny. I would recommend the book to my best friend to make her laugh!

You should read this book because you never know what's going to happen next! It's full of surprises and trip ups! This is one of the best Mr Gum books I have read!

I think that this book is funny because there is a mystery to solve and 'Mr. Polly' and 'Mr. Friday' have to try and see if they can figure out what's making the clouds fall out of the sky. I also like surprising Ben who pops up nearly everywhere. Recommendation: 100%
