When she’s abandoned just before Christmas, Peggy the pug puppy is taken in by a foster family with a unicorn-mad little girl named Chloe. Her older brother, Finn, doesn’t little dogs. And Chloe wants a unicorn for Christmas, not a puppy. Believing that anything is possible, Peggy decides that she will somehow turn into a unicorn to make her new friends happy. All she needs is a long silky mane, a glowing horn, and the ability to do magic! Easy-peasy, right?
But all of Peggy’s attempts to turn into a unicorn go hilariously wrong. From knocking over the Christmas tree to getting lost in the snow and accidentally stealing the show at the nativity play, Peggy remains a pug. How will she ever find a forever home if she can’t change who she is?

I was really happy when Peggy the pug found her forever home, I really do like Peggy’s new family because (1) they are so much nicer than Susan and that evil cat and (2) that’s who Peggy deserved to be with. My favourite character is definitely Peggy. I recommend it to about 8 and under because it is such a funny and adventurous book!

I like it because it has a pug who dresses up as a unicorn. It’s all about a baby pug and a mother who tells him he’s going to find a new mummy. He gets a new mummy but she wants a unicorn so he dresses up as one.

The book is about Peggy and his old owner Susan had a cat as well but she was a boring cat because she always liked to take naps. Then Susan is angry with Peggy, she takes her to adopting station. Then a family comes to donate a dog bed because their old dog Baxter died. Peggy licked a girls hand named Chloe and then she became her pet.

This is the first book where Chloe’s family adopts Peggy from a dog shelter. There is a problem, Chloe is wishing for a unicorn and Peggy desperately wants to grant her wish, is there a way for Peggy to turn into a unicorn?!

It was a truly amazing book I loved it be because I have a pug it is about when Peggy the pug is abandoned just before Christmas Chloe’s family takes her her in for a week the playful little puppy loves Chloe and wishes she could stay with her for ever. But Chloe doesn’t want a dog - she wants a unicorn
