A wonderful new story of friendship against the odds, set in the Victorian world of the much-loved Hetty Feather.

Rose Rivers is the daughter of a wealthy artist and lives in luxury in a beautiful home with her siblings.

I love how they all relate to Hetty Feather a real joy to read it was a little boring at first waiting for Clover to come but not really. My favourite character is Sebastian he is a real character him and his mouse . Overall I loved it!

It was stunning to read! The author is an exhilarating writer! My favourite character is Clover Moon because she cares for all the children and all the children love her!

Rose was deffinitly my favourite charechter. It linked into my school project of Victorians. I like how lots of books link together. When I had finished I could then read the next one and compare. It left me wanting more and imagining what would happen next. I love Jacqueline Wilson books. 5***** definitly from me.

I don't really have much to say about it. I don't like how it's so open-ended though.

I like Rose because she cared about her sister, and saved her life when asking the doctor about her medicine

I really enjoyed reading this book because of how Jacqueline Wilson creates exciting and interesting moments to keep you reading. I read this book because I am Jacqueline Wilson's no.1 fan and I absolutely adore reading her books. I found this book in a charity shop (Fara Books) and I bought it. I don't have a favourite character because I like the description of them all but I suppose I really like Rose and the way she puts up with everything that is going on in her life so well - even when it feels like the end of the world.

I loved how Hetty Feather and Clover Moon come into this story just like they do in their own books.

Really liked the ending , at the start she wanted to go to a boarding school. But at that time only men could go. Somehow she got to go because she kissed a man on the neck to say thank you . Paris was fine with it as it was only to say thanks. But the rest of her family got angry . Her Mum and Dad were fine with it the rest did not know about it as she had to stay in her room

This was a very fun and exciting book to read but also sad how her parents and siblings left her in Scotland because she kissed the person she loved.I thought it was also very inspiring because Rose wanted to study and she got to go to school in the end

Rose Rivers, is a girl who wants to follow her twin brother to boarding school, but prevented by her mother who wants her to be prim and proper lady. Things take a turn when she befriends a nursery maid and her fathers prodigy instead of her mums lady friends! when she goes to her grand parents famous Scottish ball, her life changes forever. I love reading JW books
