The final book in Philip Pullman’s classic Sally Lockhart
quartet in a beautiful new edition.
Jim Taylor, Sally Lockhart’s oldest friend, is engaged as bodyguard
to a princess. But Crown Princess Adelaide of Razkavia is not
what you’d expect. She’s the slum-girl Jim has been searching
for ever since she vanished ten years ago. Now her life is in mortal
danger, and together they must battle against unknown enemies
in a country where no one can be trusted.

Don’t miss Philip Pullman’s incredible HIS DARK MATERIALS series airing on BBC now.

It was very exiting and something was always happening. My favourite character was Jim because he was always saving other people from tricky situations and never gave up until it was all over. I would definitely recommend it.

It was a great book to end the Sally lockheart mystery series. It was eventful and exciting. This book was fictional. My favourite character was Jim the detective and photographer though Sally Lockheart is my favourite character in the full series but she is not a main character in The tin Princess. If you are intrested read it!

I like this series of Sally Lockhart mysteries (even though she is now Sally Goldberg) because they are thrilling, captivating and captures your attention and sucks you in. Basically, you can't put it down.I like it because this book isn't from Sally's perspective it is from different ones, though mostly Jim and Becky. I recommend this book for avid readers aged 12 and above because younger children would definitely not understand most of it's storyline, the plots in it and the vocabulary. My favourite character was Jim and the Richterbund because they had plans when no one else did. There is quite a lot of violence so it is not that suitable for younger children. This book is set in the 1890s.
