Norbert the penguin lives in Antarctica. He dreams of being a big star and singing and dancing for millions of people! One day he leaves his home and makes the long journey to the big city. He works hard and before long he is the most famous penguin the world has ever known!
But Norbert is lonely too. Can he go back to his family without giving up the thing he loves to do?
A beautiful picture book from the writer and illustrator of Oh no! Where did Walter Go?

Norbert was funny when he was escaping from the big city. He wanted to see his family again. I liked the story.

Good penguin book who wanted to follow his dream to sing. Well illustrated, prompts good questions with my youngster, would recommend. Worth a read.

It was really good. It was a bit sad when he left his family but was a nice happy ending and they gave hi. A surprise.

I liked this book because it is a very nice story about a little penguin that wants to go to theatre and also be a star and wants his family and friends to go with him but they were not interested in what he was saying

It was funny that a penguin sang.

This book is so relatable as i love to sing just like Norbert but unfortunately my dream hasnt come true yet like norberts did. this book is about a penguin called Norbert who's family and friends love fishing but he is the only person who loves to sing. He discovers about a musical that is in the city but he tries to explane to his family and friends but they are to busy in there fishing so he decides to go to the city on his own and watch the musical on his own but all of a sudden he finds himself auditioning for a role in a musical. i would rate this book 200 penguins out of 1 penguin. I would recommend this book to anyone who has a dream to become something it is amazing and I would read this as many times as I can.
