A classic children’s story from the world’s best-loved children’s author, Enid Blyton. School life has never been so splendid. Pat and Isabel O'Sullivan plan to give everyone at their new school a few surprises. But it's them who are in for a shock . . . Watch out! There's trouble at St Clare's! Enid Blyton is arguably the most famous children’s author of all time, thanks to series such as The Wishing-Chair, The Faraway Tree-, The Mysteries, The Famous Five and The Secret Seven. Her school stories – including the St Clare’s and Malory Towers series are the perfect books for girls who are experiencing their own adventure at school.

This book is a wonderful example of Enid Blyton's clasic stories of school life, and the strange sort of mistakes students make, or the terribly wrong and unacceptable things that they commit, knowingly or unknowingly are included in this all time amazing clasic! The O'Sullivan twins (Patricia and Isabel) arrive at St Clare's with high expectations that were set to them by the incredibly posh and exclusive school, Redroofs, which they previously attended. They 'turn up there nose' to everything, according to the children of St Clare's, and are jokingly nicnamed the 'stuck up twins' by the girls that are there. They both are embarrased by this name, and heartily despise it. But soon they come to realise, that they are quite spoilt, and they should improve. So they make a good effort, and everyone begins to appreciate and accept them , respecting them too. Meanwhile, a lot of fun and unexpected things happen, and half term comes and goes in a flash. The Twins come to love their school, and from then on are always excited to return! This book is lovely, and exciting, one of Enid Blytons best books, and I would definately recommend to all!

Pat and Isabel are quite a handful pair! Being stuck up and not going to the school you love? That must be hard right?

The twins are now attending St. Clare's but are not satisfied with the school. Even though they were head girls at their previous school and consistently excelled in their exams, they haven't had the opportunity to display their academic abilities at St. Clare's.

It was really good. I liked that there was a puppy in it and that it was a story about a school. I’d recommend it.

This book was pretty interesting. The part I didn't really like was how they normally insult others and I know its part of the book but it really bothers me. But I liked the part when they said at the beginning that they were going to do bad, but they ended up quite good.

I loved Pat and Isabel, and of course the tricks they played, like Janet and the fire cracks! And who could forget the midnight feast! Miss Roberts is a strict form mistress, but is a great Character to have, Miss Theobald is a good headmistress!

At the first term of their new school, St Clare’s the fourteen year old twins Patricia and Isabel O’Sullivan are determined to give everyone a few surprises and teach them a lesson or two.But it isn’t the school who’s in for a shock, it’s them. Will Pat and Isabel learn their lesson or will they continue to be the silly conceited little girls they had been since they were at their old school, Redroofs. Read the book to find out! This book is fantastic!
