Holly had a cat flap, but no cat. When one day a star fell out of the sky, she made a wish, and ""CRASH"". Tom arrived on her window sill. Tom was a scruffy cat with a crooked smile and Holly didn't want him - but Tom was determined to be her wish cat.

It’s funny that someone wished for a kitten but got the wish cat, which was a bit scruffy and older. It was nice how the girl eventually came to love cat. It was an interesting story.

I woud recommend this book. I think that she should have made another wish at the end to make the book longer. My favourite character was Tom the cat.
