I like this book because it was about a gnome who stole a princess and two children went to try and rescue her. My favourite character is the princess because she was brave. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure stories.

I think that the magic faraway tree is a really good book . It tells you the importance of friendship . I liked the character Fenella the most because she is so friendly to everyone . Yes ,I would recommend it to someone else .

Characters:Fenella(Princess), Peter(young boy), Mary(young girl), Pop-Off(pedlar)Goblin Dog(half goblin half dog) and Sly-one(evil gnome) This was a book of fiction.It was an interesting and magical story. It had lots of twists and turns.It was a story of a young princess that was taken away from the land that she lived in by a little gnome named Sly-One and the two little children named Peter and Mary went on a quest to find the Princess.they met many friends on the way, one a cuckoo the other a pedlar.In the end a narrow escape for Fenella and Goblin Dog from the evil Sly-One.they all went on to have a happy ending.*****

I loved the mix of the wishing chair and the far away tree! It was a great book and made me excited. I would definitely recommend reading it. My favourite character was the Goblin dog.

I think that this book is very interesting to read and I enjoyed it a lot. It is about 2 children who go on an exciting quest to find their friend, a princess. There are many turning points in the book and unexpected twists. It is a fantasy story and is a must read! My favourite character was Pop-Off the pedlar. I would recommend it to children who like adventure stories.

This was my first big book - I really liked trying to find out who had Princess Fenella and I liked that the Goblin dog was a really nice doggy at the end.

In the adventure of the goblin dog the Princess of fairy land was playing with her friends, she got captured by a gnome and was guarded by the goblin dog. Her friends came to rescue her, the goblin dog turned good and helped them. I would recommend it for children who enjoy adventure stories, it was great.
