I loved this book because it was the King's birthday and everyone was having fun and then in the distance there were the wild land soldiers coming to take over Avantia.

This was different to some of the other books, there was a man eating tree but Tom survived in the end.

Tom was my favourite character, because he was so brave and saying. I would recommend this book, unless you are young because it's quite scary.

I like this book.The kingdom of Avantia is shocked by the return of the king's brother, Prince Angelo, every one in Avantia believed that Angelo was killed in the battle, many years ago. But when he banishes Tom and Elenna from Avantia they travel to the wildlands in the north. Then Tom and Elenna had to fight Querzol the swamp monster and they find out what was truth.

I thought that it was really good because when Querzol gripped Tom and Elenner they cool of died. My favourite character was Tom.

It was an amazing book as Tom and Elenna (the warriors) were taken into the woods and had too fight a beast that was camouflaged. I would recommend it to someone who likes mythical stories.
