I liked this book. I think Harvey chose some strange pets, it showed his personality. I liked the ending to the book too.

The hamster was the best because it was fluffy. I would recommend this book as it is funny as he brings in different things into his house.

A boy went to the park with his dad and he saw a cat. He wanted the cat to be his pet.But his dad said ‘no’. Then he saw a slug. This time he wanted the slug to be his pet.But his dad and mum said ‘no’. And then this time he was sad but his mum went to the pet shop and bought a hamster.And he was happy again. This book is non fiction. I liked his mum. Because she looked beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone else.

I didn't like when they all screamed. I liked fluffy the most because he was all fluffy and he was so cute and he put his paw on the window. Oh yes I will recommend it.

I think it was okay because Harvey really wanted a pet so he got a pet slug and a pet spider and a pet ant and a pet flee but he wasn't allowed to have any of them because there flat was to small. so in the end mum realised that Harvey wanted a pet so they went to the pet shop and Harvey got a pet hamster.

I loved all the different things that Harvey kept bring home as a pet, like slug, fleas etc. I really enjoyed the ending where he finally gets a real pet for the flat.
