The book is a bit sad as trolls smashed everyone's houses but a little boy knew what trolls fear... which is a dragon. So he got a dragon and then the trolls got scared.

I liked this book because the boy thought that he could find a dragon to save their food and help the village. It teaches you never to doubt people just because they are smaller than you. I like the dragon Astrid because it was very small at the beginning and it grew to scare away the trolls. I would recommend it to people who like dragons because it is also exciting to see a mountain full of dragons.

I didn't like this book because I didn't like the story. I didn't like the dragons and the vikings because they were hurting each other. The trolls destroyed the village and weren't very nice and squished the houses.
