Someone will take their final bow . . . The seventh thrilling Murder Most Unladylike mystery.

Fresh from their adventure in Hong Kong, Hazel Wong and Daisy Wells are off to the Rue Theatre in London to face an entirely new challenge: acting.

But the Detective Society is never far away from danger, and it’s clear there’s trouble afoot at the Rue.

Jealousy, threats and horrible pranks quickly spiral out of control – and then a body is found.

Now Hazel and Daisy must take centre stage and solve the crime . . . before the murderer strikes again.

Death in the Spotlight was amazing to read after all the other books by Robin Stevens. This is one of my favourite books after Death Sets Sail. My favourite character is Hazel because she is just so funny with Daisy, her best friend and fellow member of the Detective Society. I would definitely recommend the whole Murder Most Unladylike series and the Ministry of Unladylike Activity series to someone else (ages 9 and over).

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS SERIES! Robin Stevens writes them so well! My favourite character in this one is Hazel, because she is so different to Daisy but they get along so well! I would recommend this to anyone who likes historical fiction and murder mystery!

It is a gripping page-turner with a wonderful mystery plot. My favourite character is Hazel because she is very smart, caring and a brilliant detective. I would definitely recommend this book, because it hooks your in and builds up lots of tension. There is also a twist at the end!!

it was a brilliant book and I never expected the murderer would be rose tree!

My book was fiction and my favourite character was called Hazel. I liked Hazel because she felt like she didn't fit in because she had a different skin colour. I would recommend this book to my Mum because it is a brain twister and I think she would like it.

I found the plot easy enough to predict and solved the murder near the start of the story

My favourite character was Annie because she was very chatty when she was alive and she reminded me of a friend! I would recommend this book to people who love twisted endings as the murderer is very unexpected...
