The famous five find a gold coin and they want to find the rest of the treasure. They are not the only ones, Ebenzer and Jacob, the tour guides are also after the treasure. My favourite character is Timothy, Timmy for short, the dog. Very cute and clever. This book is a bit old fashioned (its language)but it is a good adventure book.

The book is full of adventure and it has lots of wonderful descriptions of delicious meals. The book has a lot of mystery and is entertaining. The characters all have different personalities. The character I like best us Julian because he feels to me like a great leader and the group has great and fabulous teamwork. I would recommend this book to someone who likes to read about adventure books because the book is packed with adventure and excitement.

I liked it lots because the five always went off on their own and had an adventure. Timothy the dog is my favourite character because he is very sensible and always looks after the children. I would recommend this book.
