One morning Mr Gaskitt puts on all his clothes, Mrs Gaskitt picks up a robber in her taxi, Gus and Gloria have trouble with a teacher, Horace the cat goes to a friend's house to watch TV and the car radio gets things wrong.

I loved this book because of the radio and the ending. I thought it was funny when the radio wished Mr Gaskitt a happy Easter at Christmas time. I also loved Horace the cat.

I thought it was really funny when Mr Gaskitt dressed up as Santa Claus. I liked the bit when Horace and another cat were watching a cat food ad for Crunchy Mice. I would recommend it to someone else.

I think this book is really good and my favourite character is the car radio because it always gets everything the wrong around!! Once it said ‘roads are clear, no holdups anywhere’ and a lorry has just tipped over spilling Christmas trees everywhere!!

This book is about a family who has different jobs at different times. Mrs Gasket is a taxi driver and Mr Gasket is Santa Clause. The family get caught up with a bank robber and Mr Gasket saves the day.
