I thought this book was good. I liked all the animals in the potting shed. I liked the twins but I didn't like Dawn. I like Sophie.

I liked when they said 'get a red pen!' to mark their initials and then Sophie said, it won't work because you've both got the same initials!

I like this book because it was about a girl who made friends with a snail. The snail got down a plughole, was realsed and came back to the girl!

The main character was Sophie who was four years old. Sophie found a snail in her garden which was no bigger than her fingernail and was a lovely buttercup yellow. She looked after the snail and watched it slowly make it's way back to the windowsill. I enjoyed the story because my name is Sophie and I like animals too.

I think that this book was very good and also it was very funny too. I highly recommend this book especially to younger readers. I think that Sophie is really sassy and I love how she plods off on silly things

I think my friends would like to read it because Sophie finds a snail and her twin brothers, Matthew and Mark started a snail race. Sophie said "wait for me" but they had started without her.
